During the 90's I used a big huge video camera to look at my work in black and white. Many articles and publications used b & w images and I would double check them to see if the image would print well. Times have changed and digital cameras have enhanced our lives. A digital camera with a b & w setting is a quick tool for checking values. You can check your image and even take a peek at your subject in b & w as you work, giving yourself another eye to view with.
