Pedrero Sketchbook of Korean model

Sharon emailed asking about my model sketches. They are charcoal, some made with large chunky sticks and others using vine charcoal. The sketches are a quick exploration of my model not perfect charcoal portraits. This is my method to capture angles, and appealing aspects which I might choose to carry through to my oil painting. These are sheets of 18 x 24 paper.

Drawing is such a good skill to develop for painting. Nice to see you're hard at it.
