Etsy from her studio to my home

"Inside and Out bridges worlds - particularly the inner and the outer. Relax and ease into harmony and peace, inside and out. This colorful painting is created with a tip of the hat to Matisse" Diane Clancy. I found this piece in an Etsy Treasury of the VAST Team, which I am a member of also, and bought it. It arrived in the mail today. Have you purchased art through Etsy? It is a wonderful experience. You can browse shops by individuals, treasuries, where others curate their own favorites, there's pouncing, and time machines, all which give us creative fun ways to shop at our fingertips. As a shop keeper on Etsy I have met some wonderful people, both buyers and shop keepers of hand made items. My shop is http://RobinMariaPedrero.etsy.com What's your Etsy experience?

Nice shop!!
I've bought a lot of art prints and soap etc on Etsy and think it's so easy to find beautiful art & items there, but it seems very hard to get noticed. Hope you'll get the attention you deserve.

I have a story up on afiori :)

Your shop is great...I've purchased a small pieces myself.

I also enjoy the atmosphere of Etsy...I think that is why I keep trying...I make jewelry and there are many of us on Etsy...

I had a feeling you bought that one! I'm glad you found it in one of the VAST treasuries that I made. It looked so good with all the other pieces! Glad it found a new home. -kristen

Lovely piece! Great colors. I love Etsy (& VAST). I don't have many sales, but have met great people, have found loads of advice & get to see amazing work !! And you can't beat the prices. The only problem is I buy too much art (if that's possible). Need to sell some more to pay for my art-addiction ;)

I love Diane's work and own one of her bubbles ACEOs which I enjoy daily. I've been increasing my ACEO collection on Etsy and through VAST and Acetsy artists. Wonderful to own litttle pieces of original art and they bring a smile to my face daily.

Hi Robin,

Yes, a tea press and a coffee press are the same thing. What I said to Barb is that it's actually called a "French press" but tea people will call it a tea press and coffee people will call it a coffee press ;D

Oh I agree that Etsy is a lot of fun and a good place to buy and sell art. I've done both there.

Nice piece you bought!

Nice work that now has a great home! An artist can wish for nothing more.
I am a shopkeeper on Etsy. I find it exciting when I make a sale and frustrating when I go long periods without one, but the forums and people are supportive so it is all worth it!

Robin,
Diane's piece is so beautiful! You are certainly lucky to own this piece! My experiences being a shop keeper on Etsy and a shopper have all been wonderful! I love both buying and selling! Sometimes when you buy something, a shop keeper will throw in a little extra something. That's always a pleasant surprise. Plus, I really enjoy being a member of VAST. It is such a friendly and helpful community! I'm glad you joined. You are one of my favorite artists! I just adore your pastels!!!!
