Ambiguous Flowers by Robin Maria Pedrero

I enjoy to create floral paintings. Generally I paint flowers with an ambiguous quality. I  use my memories and experiences in gardening and visiting gardens around the world.

I like to give some credit to this love affair with gardens to my father's side of the family which were farmers in New York. Some of my floral  pieces are more simplistic such as the above small 6 x 6" acrylic painting.
I like to give these small pieces a very decorative design,
less of a landscape feel than let's say this 30 x 30" piece,

"Mariposa" although still very much a floral piece as well.

I feel fortunate that I live in a climate with year round flowers.
